What you’re reading here is a glimpse into my past thoughts and thinking. On many of these topics I’ve since changed my mind, sometimes more than once.
I’ve thought about deleting the blog entirely a few times, but each time I did, a few emails would come in asking me to put it back. So consider this an archive.
Today I’m completely focused on AI — you can read more about that at www.aikos.si.
One note: the Slovenian and English blogs aren’t the same. I started out blogging in Slovenian and later switched to English, so the two don’t line up post-for-post — some pieces exist only in one language.

Chapter 1: Startups, VC & Personal Development
For the first 12 years of my career, I was actively involved in developing the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and competitive business environment in Slovenia and Southeast Europe.
I helped establish university incubators and technology parks, managed a business angel network and a venture capital fund, organized major entrepreneurial conferences and events, and contributed to designing seed-stage products for the Slovenian Enterprise Fund.
I was also obsessed with personal growth, self-help, and improving every area of my life. Most of the articles here are from that era. I covered topics like psychology, self-improvement, business, and venture capital.
Chapter 2: Strategy, Consulting & Lean Productivity
For the next 10 years, I advised companies of all sizes on growth strategies, process optimization, and business digitalization. I focused on strategy, lean, and agile.
I also did individual and group management coaching in strategic planning, productivity, and the development of leadership and other soft skills. I also wrote a lot about applying lean and agile techniques in personal life.
Most of the productivity blog posts from this area are published on spica.com.
Chapter 3: AI Focus
Since 2025, I’ve been fully focused on AI projects — developing AI strategies for companies, building AI products and solutions, implementing AI tools for process automation, and applying AI tools in personal life and productivity.
